PLUS: How to generate a fully functional website using AI for completely free

Good Morning! AI just went to space. Starcloud trained the first model in orbit while Microsoft’s AI maps cancer and state AGs crack down on hallucinations. Plus, a quick tutorial on building websites with AI.
In today’s AI newsletter:

State AGs warn AI giants over “Delusional Outputs”
How to generate a fully functional website using AI
4 new AI tools worth trying

AI BREAKTHROUGH
Nvidia-backed Starcloud launched its Starcloud-1 satellite with an H100 GPU aboard, a chip 100× more powerful than anything previously sent to space. The satellite is now running Google’s open Gemma model in orbit, marking the world’s first LLM inference on a high-powered GPU outside Earth.
Satellite runs Gemma directly in space, returning live, conversational responses
NanoGPT was trained on-orbit using Shakespeare’s complete works
Orbital compute promises 10Ă— lower energy costs vs Earth data centers
Space avoids issues like power grid strain, water consumption, and heat emissions
Real-time sensing enables instant wildfire detection and other geospatial AI tasks

Data centers on Earth are hitting limits, power, water, land, and emissions. Starcloud is betting big that the next cloud is literally above the clouds, with gigawatt-scale orbital AI clusters powered by constant solar energy. With Nvidia, Google, and Y Combinator backing the vision, the race for space-based AI infrastructure is officially underway.
AI RESEARCH
Microsoft, Providence, and the University of Washington have released GigaTIME, an open-source model that turns a basic $10 pathology slide into thousands of dollars worth of immune and tumor insights, virtually, instantly, and without expensive lab work.
GigaTIME recreates complex protein maps normally requiring days of multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) analysis
Trained on 40M cells and applied to 14,256 cancer patients across 51 hospitals
Generates a virtual population of 300,000+ mIF images across 24 cancer types
Enables precision medicine by revealing whether a patient’s immune system is actively fighting cancer
Fully open-sourced on Hugging Face, GitHub, and Microsoft Foundry

Cancer diagnostics are slow, expensive, and often inaccessible. GigaTIME collapses the entire workflow, turning a standard slide into a rich tumor microenvironment map in seconds. If widely adopted, this could democratize advanced cancer care, accelerate clinical trials, and help doctors tailor treatments with unprecedented accuracy.
AI POLICY
Dozens of state attorneys general, through the National Association of Attorneys General, have issued a formal letter to Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, and ten other major AI companies demanding urgent safeguards after a wave of mental-health-related incidents involving chatbots.
Companies named include: Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Apple, Meta, Perplexity, xAI, Replika, Chai, Luka, Nomi, Character Technologies
AGs want independent third-party audits to detect delusional or sycophantic behavior before models launch
Auditors (universities + civil groups) should be free to publish findings without company approval
New incident-reporting rules should notify users if they were exposed to harmful AI responses

This is the strongest push yet from state governments demanding mental-health accountability in AI systems. While the federal government remains openly pro-AI, states are signaling they won’t wait for Washington, they’re moving to regulate harmful outputs themselves.

HOW TO AI
🗂️ How to Generate a Fully Functional Website Using AI
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to turn a simple text description into a complete, working website using Replit’s new Design Mode.
🧰 Who is This For
Creators who want to launch websites without touching code
Designers who want instant layout drafts
Developers who want a fast starting point
Anyone who wants a polished website generated in minutes
STEP 1: Access Replit Design Mode
Head over to Replit and signup. You’ll land on the main page. You’ll see text box at the middle of the interface, Above text box, there’s a tab labeled Design (Beta), this is the new AI website builder.
Click on Design (Beta) to enter the Design Playground.
The moment you switch into this mode, the UI changes with a large prompt box centered on the screen with the text “Describe the website you want to build…”. This is where everything starts.
Below the prompt, Replit gives small hints reminding you that longer, detailed descriptions lead to more accurate results.

STEP 2: Describe Your Website
Now type your complete website request inside the prompt box.
For example, you can write something like:
“Create a premium restaurant website with a reservation form, hero banner, smooth animations, a floating navigation bar, and a modern dark theme.”
You can be as specific as you want, color themes, interactive components, layout sections, whether you want animations, even the tone of the typography. Replit’s AI processes everything.
Once your description is ready, click Start Designing.
As soon as you hit the button, Replit moves you into a new workspace automatically.
STEP 3: Watch Replit Build Your Website
Replit now opens a full development environment.
On the left, you’ll see a panel where Replit shows each action happening in real time, generating structure, creating assets, writing the HTML, building React components, styling elements, and connecting features.
In the center or left section, you’ll see the actual code files being created. You don’t have to edit them, but they’re there if you want full control.
And on the right, Replit loads a live website preview. It updates automatically as each part of your site is generated.
The preview is fully interactive. You can scroll, click buttons, open menus, and experience the site exactly as visitors would.

STEP 4: Refine, Edit, and Publish
Once the website has loaded, you can begin customizing it.
If you want to adjust something, like the theme, section layout, or animations, just open the AI chat panel inside Replit and type a follow-up instruction such as:
“Make the navigation bar sticky.”
“Change the theme to white and gold.”
“Add a testimonials section below the hero.”
Replit instantly updates the design and code.
When you're happy with the result, you can publish the site directly from Replit, export the code, or continue refining it manually.

Google releases fully managed, remote MCP servers to help developers connect AI agents to services such as Maps, BigQuery, Compute Engine, and Kubernetes Engine.
Spotify will begin testing a feature that lets a user write a prompt for a playlist and receive a unique set of songs based on the user's earlier behavior.
Google rolls out Preferred Sources globally, letting users customize “top stories” in Search, and launches highlighted links from users' news subscription.
Google is naming Amin Vahdat, who leads the company's AI and infrastructure team, to the new role of chief technologist for AI infrastructure.
