AI NEWS

Microsoft is incorporating Claude Opus 4.1 and Claude Sonnet 4 into Copilot, alongside OpenAI models, for business users who need specialized AI support.

→ Opus 4.1: Complex reasoning, coding, and architecture planning
→ Sonnet 4: Routine development, large-scale data processing, content generation
→ Users can pick which AI powers their Copilot tasks

Why is important: Microsoft is diversifying its AI ecosystem, reducing reliance on OpenAI alone, and giving enterprise users more flexibility and specialized AI tools for productivity and development.

AI DEVELOPMENT

Google Cloud’s latest DORA report on AI-assisted software development finds adoption has surged to 90% of developers, yet confidence in AI outputs remains surprisingly low.

→ Developers spend ~2 hours/day using AI assistants
→ 30% trust AI outputs “a little” or “not at all”
→ 80% report productivity gains; 59% see improved code quality
→ Google introduces the DORA AI Capabilities Model to guide companies on maximizing AI benefits

Why is important: While AI tools are becoming ubiquitous in coding workflows, skepticism persists. Organizations that implement best practices may gain a competitive edge by balancing AI efficiency with human oversight.

HOW TO AI

How to run uncensored real-time research with Liberty AI

Liberty AI is a private alternative to ChatGPT and Perplexity. It runs on decentralized compute, uses open-source models, and pulls real-time answers from across the internet without filters or surveillance. You can search live data from X, Reddit, YouTube, market reports, or academic papers, and even save notes for long-term projects.

🧰 Who is this for

  • Researchers looking for academic papers or deep analysis

  • Crypto traders tracking live market trends

  • Content creators pulling data from X, Reddit, or YouTube

  • Anyone who wants fast, uncensored, and secure answers

STEP 1: Access Liberty AI

Go to Liberty AI. Once the homepage loads, you’ll see a large input box in the center saying, “Ask a question..” This is where you’ll type your query.

STEP 2: Type Your First Query

Click the prompt and type the question you want answered.

For this tutorial:

“Summarize the latest discussions on Reddit about the Bitcoin halving.”

Keep the phrasing specific (platform + topic) so Liberty knows where to look and what to prioritize.

STEP 3: Choose Search Mode

Click the dropdown under the input labeled Search… and pick the mode that matches your query.

For the Reddit + Bitcoin example choose Search so Liberty scans forums and social threads across the web.

Use Research for academic papers, Crypto or Markets for price and market data, X/Twitter for fast social trends, and Videos for YouTube content.

Once you’ve selected Search for this example, press Enter or click the orange send button, Liberty will pull live Reddit threads and return a structured summary with links, sentiment, and highlights.

STEP 4: Turn on Extreme Mode

If you want a deeper investigation, toggle Extreme Mode next to the prompt before you run the query; Extreme Mode expands the crawl to niche forums, papers, and hard-to-find sources. After results appear, highlight any key findings and click Save to Memory (left sidebar) to keep them for future projects.
