PLUS: How to turn any live website into an editable Figma design in minutes

Today, OpenAI rolled out GPT Image 1.5, a faster, more controllable image model as it continues its “code red” push against Google. Plus, I'll show you how to convert any live website into a fully editable Figma file, without rebuilding layouts from scratch.
In today’s AI newsletter:

4 new AI tools worth trying

AI NEWS
OpenAI introduced GPT Image 1.5, a new image generation and editing model optimized for speed, accuracy, and instruction-following. It replaces the previous image model across ChatGPT and the API, with lower costs and better control.
Up to 4× faster image generation in ChatGPT with improved hardware efficiency
Much better at precise edits, preserving logos and key details during changes
Stronger text rendering, especially for small, dense text like infographics
20% cheaper API pricing for developers compared to the previous model

Image AI is moving from “cool demos” to production-ready tools. With faster speeds, lower costs, and more reliable edits, GPT Image 1.5 makes AI-generated visuals far more usable for real commercial and creative workflows.
AI MODELS
A new academic study shows today’s top reasoning models can pass every level of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam, in some cases with near-perfect scores.
→ Gemini 3.0 Pro set a record with 97.6% on Level I, topping all models overall
→ GPT-5 led Level II (case-based reasoning) with a 94.3% score
→ Models now handle complex synthesis and open-response tasks at Level III
→ Ethics remains the weakest area, with 17–21% error rates across top models

This marks a shift from memorization to true reasoning in high-stakes domains. While passing exams doesn’t equal real-world judgment, AI is now operating at, and sometimes beyond, professional analyst level, forcing finance to rethink how human expertise fits into future workflows.
AI ASSISTANT
Google is launching CC, an experimental AI assistant that scans your emails, calendar, and documents to deliver a personalized “Your Day Ahead” briefing every morning.
CC summarizes your schedule, tasks, bills, and key updates in one clear daily brief
The agent can draft emails and create calendar links so you can act instantly
It connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and the web, learning from your replies
Launching in early access for paid users (18+) in the US and Canada, with a waitlist open

Google is pushing AI from reactive search to proactive life management. If CC works as promised, your morning scroll could be replaced by an AI concierge, and that’s a direct challenge to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Pulse and the habit of opening social apps first thing in the day.

HOW TO AI
🗂️ How to turn any live website into an editable Figma design in minutes
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to convert any live website into a fully editable Figma design using a tool called HTML to Make. Instead of manually recreating layouts, sections, and spacing, this tool lets you import an existing website directly into Figma so you can edit, redesign, or reuse it instantly.
🧰 Who is This For
Founders who want fast visuals or a full website without hiring a team
Creators who need videos and images for content or thumbnails
Designers looking for quick starting points and inspiration
Anyone who wants professional outputs without paying for multiple tools
STEP 1: Access the Tool
You don’t need to install anything or set up a plugin to get started. Everything works directly in your browser.
Open your browser and go to HTML TO Make dashboard.
Once the page loads, you’ll see a very clean interface with a single input field and download button.
This is where the entire process begins.

STEP 2: Enter the Website URL
Now you choose the website you want to rebuild inside Figma.
In the “From a URL” input box, paste the full link of the website you want to capture. This can be a landing page, homepage, or any public webpage.
For example: apple.com, but you can use any site.
Below the URL field, you’ll see a viewport selector. This controls the screen size the website will be captured in. The default option, Tablet 1024px, works well for most designs, but you can change it if you specifically want a desktop or mobile layout.
STEP 3: Download the Figma Make File
Once your URL and viewport are set, click the large blue button labeled “Download Figma Make file.”
The tool will now process the website. It analyzes the layout, structure, spacing, and visual elements, then packages everything into a downloadable file.
And in seconds, the file is saved to your computer. This file contains the entire website design in a format Figma can understand.
STEP 4: Import and Edit Inside Figma
Open Figma and create a new or existing file.
Simply drag and drop the downloaded file directly onto your Figma canvas. Within seconds, the website appears as a fully editable design.
From here, you can:
Edit text, colors, and layouts
Rearrange sections
Use the design as a starting point for a new project
Access the full structure without manually recreating anything
You’re no longer rebuilding websites pixel by pixel. You’re starting from a real, working design and customizing it instantly.
