In this tutorial, you will learn how to use Hunyuan World 1.1 on Hugging Face to convert any short video or set of images into a fully explorable 3D world with realistic geometry, depth, and camera motion, all inside your browser and without needing a GPU or coding.

STEP 1: Upload Your Footage
Open the Hunyuan World 1.1 demo on Hugging Face and look at the top-left panel that says “Upload Video or Images.”
Click it and upload your short video or your image set. As soon as the file processes, a preview of your content appears below, and the terminal output confirms that the frames have been extracted successfully.
You can also choose one of their built-in example scenes if you don’t want to upload your own yet.
STEP 2: Choose 3D Reconstruction Mode
At the top center, click the tab 3D Gaussian Splattingthis is the most realistic 3D output format supported in-browser.
Below it, you’ll see a Video Sample Interval slider.
Leaving it at 1 gives the best reconstruction because every frame is used.
If your video is long or complex, increase the interval slightly to speed things up.
Click Resample once you’re satisfied.
This prepares the frames and camera data for 3D conversion.
STEP 3: Start the 3D Generation
When everything looks ready, click the big blue “Reconstruct” button.
The model now analyses your footage, estimates the depth for each frame, rebuilds the geometry of your environment, positions a virtual camera, and fills the world with Gaussian splats to create realistic surfaces and textures.
As the process runs, different viewers on the screen gradually fill with results: your 3D world, a new rendered RGB playback, and a depth view. Depending on server load, the entire reconstruction usually finishes in a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
STEP 4: Connect Integrations via MCP Store
Once the reconstruction is complete, click inside the main viewer where your 3D scene is displayed.
Rotate your view by dragging, zoom in and out, and explore the entire digital world that was built from your video. When you are satisfied with the results, scroll down to the export options.
You can download your reconstructed world as a Gaussian splat file, a point cloud or mesh, along with depth and camera pose data if you want to continue working in professional 3D tools like Blender, Unreal Engine, or Unity.
