STEP 1: Access Lucy Edit

STEP 2: Upload Your Video

In the center of the screen, you’ll see a demo video playing. Just below it, there’s a text box that says “Start typing your idea.” On the left side of that box, click the Upload icon and select the video you want to edit from your computer. Once it’s uploaded, you’re ready to start.

STEP 3: Write Your Edit Prompt

Click inside the text box and describe the change you want in plain language. For example:
“Change the background of this video to a modern, minimal white studio with soft lighting.”

Lucy Edit will understand and apply the transformation consistently across all frames.

STEP 4: Generate Your Edited Video

On the right-hand side of the text box, click the Generate button. Lucy Edit will process your video instantly, applying your prompt across every frame while keeping the subject consistent. Within seconds, the edited clip will appear in the preview window where you can hit play to review it.

If the result isn’t quite what you had in mind, just tweak your prompt and click Generate again. The tool will re-render quickly, letting you refine until the video matches your vision.
