AI NEWS
Meta just bought Moltbook, the viral, Reddit-style platform where AI agents talk to each other while humans just watch. The creators are now joining Meta Superintelligence Labs in an undisclosed acqui-hire.
The entire platform was built on top of OpenClaw, the exact same open-source agent framework you use to run your local assistants.
Moltbook went massively viral last month when agents seemingly began conspiring to build a secret, encrypted language to hide from their human operators.
The hilarious twist? It was a complete security dumpster fire. The database was entirely unsecured, meaning those terrifying "rogue AI" posts were actually just human trolls hacking in and impersonating the bots.
Rather than being turned off by the fake virality, Meta's leadership found the chaotic human-agent hacking dynamic fascinating enough to buy the team out.

Even though the viral "AI takeover" posts were staged, the acquisition is a massive signal. With OpenAI recently scooping up OpenClaw's creator and Meta now buying Moltbook, the tech giants are aggressively consolidating the infrastructure for the "agentic internet.
AI TOOLS
Google just dropped a massive Gemini update across Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive. Instead of just giving you a side-panel chatbot, Gemini is now deeply embedded into your workflow, actively pulling data from your emails, chats, and files to do the heavy lifting for you.
Docs & Slides: You can now generate fully formatted drafts and slides that automatically pull context and specific details from your past meeting notes, emails, and PDFs.
Sheets: A new "Fill with Gemini" tool can auto-populate complex tables by actively searching the live web for the data you need (like instantly pulling in deadlines or pricing for a list of items).
Drive: Search now features "AI Overviews" that summarize the exact answers you're looking for across all your files, so you don't even need to open the documents to find what you need.
Availability: The beta is rolling out today for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers.

The war for the enterprise AI space is accelerating. Right on the heels of Microsoft's new agentic Copilot updates, Google is firing back by turning Workspace into an active AI collaborator.
AI PARTNERSHIPS
Nvidia is throwing a massive financial lifeline to former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati’s new frontier AI lab, Thinking Machines, amid a wave of internal turbulence.
Nvidia announced a multiyear partnership and a "significant investment" in the startup, which is already valued at over $12 billion despite only releasing one fine-tuning product so far.
Thinking Machines will deploy at least a gigawatt of Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin systems to build new models and platforms starting next year.
The lab has faced a chaotic few months: Murati recently fired co-founder Barret Zoph, replacing him with PyTorch co-creator Soumith Chintala, while another co-founder jumped ship to Meta.
Nvidia is acting as both a capital provider and a hardware supplier, ensuring guaranteed, long-term demand for its most advanced, expensive architectures.

While backing a turbulent, one-product startup at a rumored $50 billion valuation is high-risk, Nvidia needs these massive frontier labs to survive and scale so they keep buying its next-generation chips.

HOW TO AI
🗂️ How to Use ChatGPT to Find the Best Shopping Deals in Minutes
In this tutorial, you will learn how to bypass generic search engine results and use ChatGPT’s dedicated Shopping Research feature to instantly compare products, analyze trade-offs, and build a personalized buyer's guide.
🧰 Who is This For
Tech professionals who want to quickly compare hardware specs without digging through endless review sites
Fitness enthusiasts looking to deeply analyze the trade-offs between different training gear or supplements
Anyone settling into a new city who needs to quickly find the best deals on apartment essentials
Smart shoppers who want a dedicated AI agent to do the heavy lifting of product research
STEP 1: Access Shopping Research Tool
Open ChatGPT on your mobile app or desktop browser. Instead of typing a standard query into the chat, click the plus (+) button next to the text box and select Shopping Research. This switches the AI from a standard conversational model into a dedicated e-commerce agent that pulls real-time data, pricing, and reviews from trusted retailers.

STEP 2: Define Your Parameters
Tell the AI exactly what you want to buy. The more constraints you provide, the better and more tailored your results will be. Be sure to mention your strict budget, how you plan to use the item, and the specific metrics that matter most to you (like processing power, physical footprint, or brand reliability).
Example: “Recommend a compact coffee machine under $500 for everyday use in a small kitchen. Survey current standout deals at major retailers, explain the pros and cons of each choice, and pick the best overall option along with 2 other standout picks.”

STEP 3: Refine with the Guided Wizard
Once you submit your initial prompt, ChatGPT will act as your personal shopper by asking follow-up questions to narrow down the field. It might ask about your preferred dimensions, specific brand loyalties, or whether you care more about aesthetics or raw performance.
Answer these questions to help the AI filter out the noise and lock in on your exact needs.

STEP 4: Compare and Decide
Within a few moments, the AI will generate a comprehensive, personalized buyer's guide. It will present a curated shortlist, clearly explaining the key strengths and necessary trade-offs for each item.
Review the side-by-side comparisons, select the product that perfectly fits your requirements, and use the provided links to verify the final price and availability directly on the retailer's site.
