AI TOOLS
OpenAI has released a Codex Chrome extension that finally bridges the gap between AI chat and actual work. Instead of just looking at your screen via "computer use" screenshots, Codex can now inhabit your live, authenticated browser sessions to perform tasks across Salesforce, Gmail, and internal dashboards.
Operates using your existing login state and cookies, allowing it to navigate secure enterprise tools and authenticated workflows that lack clean APIs.
Moves beyond the slow "screenshot-and-click" loop, instead of visually analyzing the screen, it connects directly to Chrome’s internal architecture for faster execution.
Supports parallel tasking: Codex can research data across multiple tabs simultaneously in the background while you continue working in your main window.
Isolated activity grouping ensures the agent doesn't "hijack" your cursor; it organizes its work into its own tab groups to stay out of your way.
Deep permissions allow for complex prompts like "@Chrome open Salesforce and update the account from these call notes" or summarizing sentiment across community forums.

The browser is becoming the new "operating system" for AI. By moving agents into the authenticated session itself, OpenAI (and rival Anthropic) are eliminating the friction of "clunky" automation. We are shifting from AIs that simply give advice to agents that live inside your accounts and actually do the work, effectively turning every web app into a programmable tool.
AI TOOLS
Higgsfield has launched Virality Predictor, a powerful new tool that analyzes short-form video and predicts exactly how an audience will react. By uploading any clip up to 15 seconds, creators get a granular, data-driven breakdown of their content's performance potential.
Generates an aggregate "viral potential" score, a "hook score" measuring the first second's impact, and an estimated "hold rate" for viewer retention
Provides a literal "brain heatmap" visualizing exactly which neural regions your clip activates (like the visual cortex for attention or the amygdala for emotion)
Pairs directly with an Ad Reference workflow, allowing users to instantly recreate and iterate on videos based on the predictive feedback
Available natively on the Higgsfield platform, or via CLI and MCP—meaning you can plug it directly into Claude Code or OpenClaw to seamlessly automate your vibe coding workflows

We are moving from guessing what the algorithm wants to mathematically modeling human attention. By providing a simulated test audience, this tool turns viral content creation into a precise science. Dropping this capability directly into agentic workflows via MCP means an AI agent can generate an ad, predict its virality, tweak the hook based on simulated brain activation, and iterate entirely autonomously.
AI NEWS
A new report suggests that the fear of AI taking full roles is overblown. Instead of full-scale replacement, companies are "recalibrating" around human-only responsibilities, even as AI-driven efficiency triggers massive headcounts cuts at places like Block, Coinbase, and Cloudflare.
AI is currently capable of automating roughly 57% of work activities, but this is spread across "pieces and parts" of various roles rather than deleting entire positions.
The "Lisa-Jessica Problem": Business leaders note you can't easily fire four people just because they are each 25% more efficient; however, they are using that efficiency to do more with significantly smaller teams.
The "Software Engineer" title is dying: Insiders predict the role will evolve into "Builder," where writing code is secondary to system design, troubleshooting, and "vibe-checking" AI-generated logic.
Cloudflare’s AI usage has exploded by 600% in the last 90 days, indicating that while jobs aren't gone yet, the way work happens has fundamentally shifted.

This is the "soft landing" narrative. Companies are trying to avoid the "Layoff Trap" by rebranding job destruction as "recalibration." But the result is the same: if an engineer can now "ship in days what used to take a team weeks," the demand for that team inevitably craters. We’re moving toward an economy of "Super-Employees" backed by AI, leaving everyone else fighting for the few human-centric scraps left on the table.

HOW TO AI
🗂️ How to Use Google Gemini in Google Docs & Drive
In this tutorial, you will learn how to integrate Gemini directly into your Google Docs and Drive workflow. This update allows you to draft, rewrite, and research across your personal files without ever opening a new tab.
🧰 Who is This For
People already using Google Docs and Drive daily
Students writing essays, notes, and research docs
Teams collaborating on shared documents
Marketers creating content and campaign drafts
STEP 1: Work with the Gemini Sidebar
Open any document in Google Docs and click the Gemini icon in the top right corner. This opens a persistent research assistant that lives alongside your text.
You can ask it to search the web for real-time info (e.g., "What is the weather in Mountain View?") or use the "+" button to "Add from Drive." This allows Gemini to read specific files, like meeting notes, to update your current document's project timeline or facts.

STEP 2: Draft from Scratch with "Help Me Write"
If you are staring at a blank page, right-click anywhere on the canvas and select "Help me write." Enter a prompt for any format, such as a thank-you letter or a technical brief. Once Gemini generates the text, you can refine it further or click Insert to drop it directly into your doc. This is the fastest way to get a "vibe" onto the page before you start personalizing it.

STEP 3: Refine and Match Writing Style
Highlight any existing block of text and click the Refine button that appears. You can choose from a menu of "mechanical" changes:
Tone: Toggle between Formal or Casual.
Format: Summarize, Shorten, or Bulletize long-winded paragraphs.
Match writing style: This is the most powerful feature—it analyzes your existing document's voice to ensure any new text Gemini writes sounds exactly like you.
STEP 4: Manage Your Files via Google Drive
You don't even need to open a document to start working. In the Google Drive home screen, click the Gemini icon (top right). You can now perform complex actions across your entire library by typing commands like: "Find the file 'Sales Data', analyze the numbers, and give me the top 3 takeaways." Gemini will provide the analysis in the sidebar with a direct link to the source file.
